The Rare Disease Company Coalition (RDCC) released a new statement on implementation of the Section 232 pharmaceutical tariffs, urging the administration to build on its continued commitment to the rare disease community and provide additional clarity for orphan drugs.
RDCC is calling on the administration to clarify that orphan drugs for which all approved indications are orphan categorically meet the definition of an “urgent U.S. health need” and therefore qualify for a zero-percent tariff.
